The Glory of God

How amazing are the things we see in our world? Sometimes we spend too much time working, worrying about our problems or just staying busy that we fail to stop and look at the incredible world in which we live. The framework for our incredible world was set in motion a very long time ago, but the beauty and incredible architecture are still bearing fruit to us today.

God's Greatest Gift

Sacred scripture, inspired by God, has been handed down for thousands of years and continues to have a great impact on us and the world we live in. It is truly amazing that text two thousand or more years old can still be so relevant to the world we live in today. The greatest gift bestowed upon man by God, was providing the guidance to do His will - the Word.

Sharing the Gift and the Glory

God's Creation and Word is bringing together a small part of God's Word, using scripture, and God's Glory, using images of the world we live in today. The inspiration for each piece, a reflection or other such description will be provided herein in the hope that the sharing will continue to inspire others.

It All Starts With the Right Attitude

Weekly Reflections - June 2009

Every situations and problems in life come to us with each own sets of difficulties. At times based upon how many of these you receive or experienced in any given week, it could truly bring a dark cloud above your heads, so to speak, if we’re not careful. It usually happens just when you think your day was going so well; waking up in the morning with the bright beautiful sunshine. You got up to get the coffee maker started, putting on your favorite CD, getting in the shower humming a song or two, then right after your shower you got dressed with your newly purchased outfit and wow, you’re looking mighty sharp ready for the day! …God is good! As you’re backing out of the driveway from your garage, you hear a huge thump from under the car…ooppss!! You stopped immediately and discovered that you just ran over your kid’s bike left on the driveway just right outside the garage behind your car. To make the matter a lot worse, you ended up with a flat tire.

New Day

Can you see where this whole story is leading you? In life we supposed to experience these type situations and it will happen whether we like it or not. How we react to it will dictate what kind of day we’re going to have. If we have faith and we know that these “temporary setbacks” are only there as tools for us to learn from, our days will get brighter and you will notice your attitude with others and with life in general will change for the better. We all want to be likeable, if we like each other, then God’s mission of peace and love in the world is accomplished. It all starts from a change of attitude! Tell yourself everyday, every morning when you wake up that it’s going to be a great day no matter what and you will have a great day! Better said than done, right? Well we all have to work on it. God loves it when we have a strong faith, He blesses those who depend on Him, those who believe that He can truly calm the darkest storms life may bring. Remember the story of a man who got upset because he missed his flight and business meeting due to a flat tire. Later he found out that his flight crashed into the World Trade Center. God has his plans so we must trust.

A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak. She said to herself, “if only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured.” Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.” And from that hour the woman was cured.
Matthew 9:20-22

Know that God walks you through your days and He’s watchful of you and your activities. Have faith and never live your life in the dark past. Live for today knowing that a bright tomorrow awaits you.

Have a blessed week and may God be with you as you strive to become a better creation. Tomorrow is brighter than you could ever imagined!

General Message from Artist

I felt that God spoke to me in my heart. He says, “My creation is no less than perfect if everyone will learn how to see and appreciate it, your guide is in the book of life.” I must be obedient to this message. Ever since, I’ve been moved to truly see and appreciate His wonderful creation and words which truly give me peace. It’s not like I didn’t know how to compose properly when I shoot pictures nor didn’t know how to organize and gather the proper elements when creating an image. I just have a true conviction and the passion using my God given gift to capture the beauty of His love and creation in our natural environment.

We all are given a special gift, planted in each of us when He created us. Each are special and was meant to be used for His glory and to build His kingdom. Analyze your strength and find that special gift within you. Develop it and use it for the glory of God and you will be rewarded.

Appreciate the sunshine, all that surrounds you, the beautiful environment that God has given us which meant to give us comfort if we learn to appreciate it. All material possessions can all be gone tomorrow but the trees, the sunshine, and the free air we breathe, our loved one, all came from God will always be with us. Focus on loving God and family and do your very BEST with the given talent and undertaking His given you and He will do the rest!
