We must show appreciation to each other as human being and as God’s people, no matter what profession, education level, and job position we are in. Whether your job is considered blue collar or white collar, each of us has each own calling for the glory of God…respect it. Everyone is accounted for and all are created with something special to contribute in building God’s kingdom. Many are created to be leaders and many are created to be followers; all must realize that this is reality and that’s okay. We all know that the secular world elevates certain position; we are accustomed to treating someone with more respect based upon their job title or position in our society. We must realize that all are equal in the eyes of God and all deserve the same respect, all have each own calling to execute in building a better world. Now the body is not a single part, but many. If a foot should say, “Because I am not a hand I do not belong to the body,” it does not for this reason belong any less to the body. Or if an ear should say, “Because I’m not an eye I do not belong to the body,” it does not for this reason belong any less to the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? But as it is, God placed the parts, each one of them, in the body as He intended. If they were all one part, where would the body be? But as it is there are many parts, yet one body. 1 Corinthians 14:20 |

Do you believe that Jesus who performed many miracles in the eyes of many over two thousand years ago is still with us today performing healing and miracles through people like you and I? Upon His death on the cross we've inherited the holy Spirit, the vehicle of God's work. When we open our selves to the Spirit believing in Jesus and His mighty power, all can perform the works that He has done when He walked the face of the earth. His coming, over two thousand years ago was meant to teach human to do God's work here on earth if we choose to do so. Jesus encouraged all to continue His works and move forward with all that we have learned from Him. The works cannot be done certainly not through the power of the flesh but "only" through the power of His holy Spirit who lives within all of us. "Amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it." John 14:12-14 "You will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 |

Where jealousy and selfishness are, there will be confusion and every kind of evil. But the wisdom that comes from God is first of all pure, then peaceful, gentle, and easy to please. This wisdom is always ready to help those who are troubled and to do good for others. It is always fair and honest. James 3:16-17
Have you ever had people in your life who makes you feel at ease no matter what. These type individuals for some reason just seem to have a sense of peace in most of his/her action and word, fair, honest, and jealousy and selfishness just doesn't seem to exist in these individuals, they just have the spirit of trust in them. It is also so much more soothing to know when that person who posses these type personality don't even have all the material possessions in the world. Where do they get their strength and composure in almost everything they do, most especially in the world that measures success based upon material possession and money. This tells us that it's not always things in the world that can give a person happiness, power and control. |

I tell you there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who changes his heart and life, than over ninety-nine good people who don't need to change. Luke 15:7 I'd like to think that we all want to change our lives for the better, getting rid of old hate, bad intentions, and thoughts that are not of God. Things that give us heaviness and burden that conquer our days. Start a new direction and change for a better you this week. The only way we can change is to repent, putting our big pride aside, confess our sins and admit that we have fallen short. Truly, there's no other way around it. If we open our hearts willingly trusting God will give us the change of heart that we are longing for, He can truly give us the grace to change. Since God wants for all of us to be one body in Christ, keep in mind that every time we change our selves applying God's teachings in our walk in life, the world is one step closer to becoming a better place for all, one step closer to becoming one body in Christ. |
