The Glory of God

How amazing are the things we see in our world? Sometimes we spend too much time working, worrying about our problems or just staying busy that we fail to stop and look at the incredible world in which we live. The framework for our incredible world was set in motion a very long time ago, but the beauty and incredible architecture are still bearing fruit to us today.

God's Greatest Gift

Sacred scripture, inspired by God, has been handed down for thousands of years and continues to have a great impact on us and the world we live in. It is truly amazing that text two thousand or more years old can still be so relevant to the world we live in today. The greatest gift bestowed upon man by God, was providing the guidance to do His will - the Word.

Sharing the Gift and the Glory

God's Creation and Word is bringing together a small part of God's Word, using scripture, and God's Glory, using images of the world we live in today. The inspiration for each piece, a reflection or other such description will be provided herein in the hope that the sharing will continue to inspire others.

True Giving that Comes from the Heart

Weekly Reflections - August 2009

Never get tired of giving no matter what, God loves givers. Remember St. Francis of Assisi quotes, “For it is in giving that we receive.” A person with a giving heart will always be blessed seven hundred folds. Some of us may say that I’ve been giving but where is the return of seven hundred folds? We must be patient for it will come in God’s time. When you give from the heart, truly meaning to help others most especially when you have so little to give, God sees your heart and your intention and He will bless it. What God does not want is giving for the purpose of self glorification. Have you given with the sole intention of self gain?

“When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your alms giving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.”
Matthew 6:2-4

Blessing to Others

Giving consist of many things from monetary giving to helping others by lending a hand laboring for someone, or lending an ear to those who have no one to talk to, even lending a shoulder to cry on for some. Many are lost and many need givers of time and resources. Another way of giving is by simply showing patience and courtesy to fellow individuals. The world is getting more and more crowded everyday and we must learn how to live and share with each other. Many times out on the road when I go to switch lanes, I turn my turn signal on and 90% of the time the car next to you will not let you in and will even speed up to make sure do don’t get in for whatever reason. “We all are just in a hurry all the time but going no where”, as I heard in a homily one Sunday. These are things that could add frustration to others that amounts to a lot in our strive to becoming better people for a better world to live in. Be aware that courtesy and giving is the key to a world in harmony.

General Message from Artist

I felt that God spoke to me in my heart. He says, “My creation is no less than perfect if everyone will learn how to see and appreciate it, your guide is in the book of life.” I must be obedient to this message. Ever since, I’ve been moved to truly see and appreciate His wonderful creation and words which truly give me peace. It’s not like I didn’t know how to compose properly when I shoot pictures nor didn’t know how to organize and gather the proper elements when creating an image. I just have a true conviction and the passion using my God given gift to capture the beauty of His love and creation in our natural environment.

We all are given a special gift, planted in each of us when He created us. Each are special and was meant to be used for His glory and to build His kingdom. Analyze your strength and find that special gift within you. Develop it and use it for the glory of God and you will be rewarded.

Appreciate the sunshine, all that surrounds you, the beautiful environment that God has given us which meant to give us comfort if we learn to appreciate it. All material possessions can all be gone tomorrow but the trees, the sunshine, and the free air we breathe, our loved one, all came from God will always be with us. Focus on loving God and family and do your very BEST with the given talent and undertaking His given you and He will do the rest!
