You are God's children whom He loves, so try to be like Him.. Live a life of love just as Christ loved us and gave himself for us as sweet-smelling offering and sacrifice to God. Ephesians 5:1-2
When you wake up in the morning, do you let those negative thoughts consume your way of thinking that it brings misery to your day? Or do you thank God and being appreciative that He has giving you another day to be with your loved ones with great anticipation of what He has in store for you today? We must remember that every single day is special God has given to us. A new day comes with new directions, new hopes and ideas, new possibilities, new friends and acquaintances, new challenges and adversities to learn from that leads to new successes big and small.
Always start your day with a prayer and be thankful offering your day to Him! If you ask for anything in my name, I will do it for you so that the Father's glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14 Ask for protection, guidance, and most importantly...His wisdom and knowledge giving total surrender to His will. As you plan your day with total surrender to His will knowing His in full control guiding and loving you as you labor, it allows Him to empower you through the Holy Spirit that gives life and vision. His wisdom will elevate you and will make you wise, defeating all doubts and fear planted by the evil one, giving you the ultimate knowledge that leads you to great accomplishments. The biggest challenge for all of us, personally speaking, is the "total surrender" to God's will and all are guilty. The world's culture is all about "me" and "now". My house, my car, my project, my money, my my my my my. Instant popcorn, remote control, information super highway, all designed to make things instant, all in the palm of our hands in seconds and minutes....all works great in the world and culture in which we live, but we most of the time forget the importance of the old ways, the simple ways, the old culture that doesn't seem to fit most of the time in modern society. What do we do about it? There are so much we can learn from the old culture in which God's words are well alive. Patience and understanding, forgiveness of self and others , and that it's also okay if things are not done right at this minute. It makes us realize that we are human being and are not machines. We have to feel and experience the life that is given to us experiencing it by living it in many ways, certainly not only on deadlines and how much we can accomplish on every given tasks. When we don't see life in the right perspective, we tend to forget that we have so much to be thankful for having the simple things that truly give life such as the free air we breath, roof over our heads, food we eat, our environment, the beautiful sunshine, our loved ones and circle of friends and community...these are the components that truly give life but our society and man made directions made it so complicated that we most of the time live our daily life sweating the small stuff, in confusion and chaos always thinking that time is money and that's it! Makes us feel like it's the only reason why we are here...it's true. Know that your life is given to you with great purpose and success for the glory of God. Be aware that we must appreciate life even in times when it's difficult to understand its purpose as we go forward with our day to day tasks. God's plan for each of us is perfect and will be unveiled sooner or later in His time and that's for Him to worry about. For us, plan and do your work the best you can, be thankful for your life for it has a great purpose. Don't be disappointed, give life to others through your service and words. When you do things, do not let selfishness or pride be your guide. Instead, be humble and give more honor to others than to yourselves. Do not be interested only in your own life, but be interested in the lives of others. In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:3-5 May the good Lord bless you and be with you as you face a new week. May you learn from all adversities, trials, and new challenges this week that it may bring you to the ultimate success with your walk with God and in life. |
