The Glory of God

How amazing are the things we see in our world? Sometimes we spend too much time working, worrying about our problems or just staying busy that we fail to stop and look at the incredible world in which we live. The framework for our incredible world was set in motion a very long time ago, but the beauty and incredible architecture are still bearing fruit to us today.

God's Greatest Gift

Sacred scripture, inspired by God, has been handed down for thousands of years and continues to have a great impact on us and the world we live in. It is truly amazing that text two thousand or more years old can still be so relevant to the world we live in today. The greatest gift bestowed upon man by God, was providing the guidance to do His will - the Word.

Sharing the Gift and the Glory

God's Creation and Word is bringing together a small part of God's Word, using scripture, and God's Glory, using images of the world we live in today. The inspiration for each piece, a reflection or other such description will be provided herein in the hope that the sharing will continue to inspire others.

Forgiveness and Peace

Weekly Reflections - April 2009

The shot of the week was taken one foggy morning as I was driving after I dropped my daughter to school. I took one of the back roads close to her school which led me to this image to which its ambiguity I love, turned out to be one of my favorite.

I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6

God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son so that whoever believes in Him may not parish but may have an everlasting life. God didn’t send His Son into the world to judge the world guilty, but to save the world through Him. John 3:16-17.

Jesus is truly the way the truth and the life. Without Him it’s impossible to have the balance in life that we all long for. The key to a balanced life is the greatest commandment from God which is “Love of God and neighbor”, having the ultimate faith and trust in Him and always ready to forgive your neighbor’s transgression. Jesus said to the apostles when they asked Him, “Lord, how many times should we forgive?” He replied, “Seven times seventy times.” He’s saying that we can never stop forgiving; forgiveness holds the key to all peace.

A police officer were shot point blank during a routine traffic stop and left him paralyzed. He can never forgive the man who did it. Many times the church advised him to forgive and let go until after so many years living in hate and misery. One day he finally took a bold step and went to the man in prison who shot him and gave forgiveness. Ever since his heart of stone turned into a heart of flesh that gave him happiness that he can never describe. The extra baggage he carried all that time all of a sudden is gone, unshackled from all his burden and hate. The inmate and the officer became the very best of friend and his life was changed forever.

Without Him we can’t do anything…Well, I guess we can always do something because of our own free will given to us, but be watchful in all that you do always giving your very best. Remember your action and word can either bear fruit to someone or destroy souls. Be vigilant discerning at all times that your action and the words you speak inspire and will give hope to others, we all need it today! Follow His ways, His truth, and we will have life.

General Message from Artist

I felt that God spoke to me in my heart. He says, “My creation is no less than perfect if everyone will learn how to see and appreciate it, your guide is in the book of life.” I must be obedient to this message. Ever since, I’ve been moved to truly see and appreciate His wonderful creation and words which truly give me peace. It’s not like I didn’t know how to compose properly when I shoot pictures nor didn’t know how to organize and gather the proper elements when creating an image. I just have a true conviction and the passion using my God given gift to capture the beauty of His love and creation in our natural environment.

We all are given a special gift, planted in each of us when He created us. Each are special and was meant to be used for His glory and to build His kingdom. Analyze your strength and find that special gift within you. Develop it and use it for the glory of God and you will be rewarded.

Appreciate the sunshine, all that surrounds you, the beautiful environment that God has given us which meant to give us comfort if we learn to appreciate it. All material possessions can all be gone tomorrow but the trees, the sunshine, and the free air we breathe, our loved one, all came from God will always be with us. Focus on loving God and family and do your very BEST with the given talent and undertaking His given you and He will do the rest!
