I will announce the name of the Lord. Praise God because He is great! He is like a rock; what He does is perfect, and He is always fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong, who is right and fair. Deuteronomy 32:3-4 When you see the rain comes down does it make you sad or does it make you happy? You may say it all depends if I have an outdoor plan that day. Okay, that’s fair, all of us see it different and sometimes we make the weather dictate the kind of day we’re going to have. I guess I see it different most especially lately that I’ve been trying to live to the fullest everyday, meaning I’m pretty open to what life brings my way with or without all those things that we long for in the world. I’m more appreciative of all that I have with family, loved ones, my health, all I have through the grace and goodness of God. With a series of experiences that my family have encountered the past several months, and I will witness them to you later on in God’s time all for His glory I’m sure, I’m learning to be more open minded on what comes my way, learning and seeing everything in a positive way, even if in human ways they may seem a little tough to bear at times. They all happened because God is good to us and He is doing His works in our lives and I see it more and more clearly as I go through the molding process. He continues to refine all of us everyday, just like a blacksmith who places his iron craft on fire until the metal is somewhat more flexible, and then pounding on it with his hammer to get rid of all the bubbles and all the impurity out of the metal molding it to a desired shape to last forever. So, next time the rain comes, or the storm, or things that tend to ruin your days sometimes, have appreciation for it instead for God is doing His works, all have its own purpose that contribute to a greater world and life of greatness. Enjoy the ride though it may feel bumpy at times but we must have faith that in His time we will reap the reward of all of our troubles. Jesus has the power of God, by which He has given everything we need to live and to serve God. We have these things because we know Him. Jesus called us by His glory and goodness. Through these He gave us the very great and precious promises. With these gifts you can share in being like God, and the world will not ruin you with its evil desires. 2 Peter 1:3-4 God began doing a good work in you, and I am sure He will continue it until it is finished when Jesus Christ comes again. Philippians 1:6 May you open your hearts and minds to God’s goodness and all His works and all His ways. |

We must show appreciation to each other as human being and as God’s people, no matter what profession, education level, and job position we are in. Whether your job is considered blue collar or white collar, each of us has each own calling for the glory of God…respect it. Everyone is accounted for and all are created with something special to contribute in building God’s kingdom. Many are created to be leaders and many are created to be followers; all must realize that this is reality and that’s okay. We all know that the secular world elevates certain position; we are accustomed to treating someone with more respect based upon their job title or position in our society. We must realize that all are equal in the eyes of God and all deserve the same respect, all have each own calling to execute in building a better world. Now the body is not a single part, but many. If a foot should say, “Because I am not a hand I do not belong to the body,” it does not for this reason belong any less to the body. Or if an ear should say, “Because I’m not an eye I do not belong to the body,” it does not for this reason belong any less to the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be? But as it is, God placed the parts, each one of them, in the body as He intended. If they were all one part, where would the body be? But as it is there are many parts, yet one body. 1 Corinthians 14:20 |

Do you believe that Jesus who performed many miracles in the eyes of many over two thousand years ago is still with us today performing healing and miracles through people like you and I? Upon His death on the cross we've inherited the holy Spirit, the vehicle of God's work. When we open our selves to the Spirit believing in Jesus and His mighty power, all can perform the works that He has done when He walked the face of the earth. His coming, over two thousand years ago was meant to teach human to do God's work here on earth if we choose to do so. Jesus encouraged all to continue His works and move forward with all that we have learned from Him. The works cannot be done certainly not through the power of the flesh but "only" through the power of His holy Spirit who lives within all of us. "Amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it." John 14:12-14 "You will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8 |

Where jealousy and selfishness are, there will be confusion and every kind of evil. But the wisdom that comes from God is first of all pure, then peaceful, gentle, and easy to please. This wisdom is always ready to help those who are troubled and to do good for others. It is always fair and honest. James 3:16-17
Have you ever had people in your life who makes you feel at ease no matter what. These type individuals for some reason just seem to have a sense of peace in most of his/her action and word, fair, honest, and jealousy and selfishness just doesn't seem to exist in these individuals, they just have the spirit of trust in them. It is also so much more soothing to know when that person who posses these type personality don't even have all the material possessions in the world. Where do they get their strength and composure in almost everything they do, most especially in the world that measures success based upon material possession and money. This tells us that it's not always things in the world that can give a person happiness, power and control. |
